i am looking for a unique gift. decorative. art, paintings, furnishings. that kind of thing but i don't want it to be mass produced...so, cool thrift shops/boutiques/the like? i'm thinking shadyside would prob have something but i'm pretty unfamiliar with all areas that aren't south side, so i come to you guys for suggestions of places to look.

I live in the South Hills/Washington PA area and am looking for consignment shops.  I am in need of a floor length gown with either sleeves or a jacket for a special occasion and of course it can't be black.  If anyone can direct me, I would appreciate it.

I have an out-of-town friend who is looking to sell his t-shirts here in Pittsburgh. He's just getting started in the business and has an affection for our dear 'Burgh.
